I was watching TV in the middle of the night the other night.
Oh wait, there’s more to the story. So, I was watching Discovery Health Channel (DHC) and they had a special on hospitals or health or people or something. Anyways, they had this teen girl in the hospital, and she was a really cute girl, and they said that she had Cystic Fibrosis. This, in and of itself, is not funny by any means.
The nurse was talking about the fact that the girl needs to have someone beat on her back to keep the flem in her lungs from coagulating. So, they’re showing this picture of this cute teen girl, and the nurse says almost these exact words, about the teen girl, “She has to be pounded from behind for four hours every day.”
I was like, “holy shit!”
