Today is the 38th anniversary of the assassination of John F. Kennedy. It was only a few years later that Martin Luther King Jr. and Bobby Kennedy were also murdered. I spent some time this morning reading personal stories about the Kennedy years written by Americans who lived through the 60’s. All of these events took place before I was born, but I can’t help thinking how different America would be if those three men had lived.
I wonder to myself if this country (America) will ever see another intelligent leader with a real dream for the future and broad support from the public. It hasn’t happened yet in my lifetime, I wonder if it ever will.
Sorry for the strange post today - too much late night reading and thinking for me!
For those of you in America, have a great Thanksgiving! Everyone else, have a great Thursday!
